Don't know what happened. There I was just Window Shopping, and something just flowed through me. I COULD overcome Vader's Army of Anti-American A-SSaulters.

    I ordered a PSA M4A1 Upper Assembly(minus the BCG/CH) SKU: #29084 for $289.99 (and) a Lower Build Kit(minus Receiver) SKU: #27346 for $149.99.
What was nice is it showed "In Stock".

Don't know how PSA does it for these prices, but good that the FORCE was on my side. Should receive around 15 days. WOOO HOOOO!.

Will certainly get a Stripped Lower Receiver soon, but deciding what Roll Mark/Price.

Yep! You can build an AR15 for less than $500 with quality parts with just a little patience. I'm a happy Jedi right now.

Until I get a Lower Receiver, this Upper will go on my DPMS Oracle Lower to enjoy. Already got a spare H-Buffer, Charge Handle and FA BCG to complete.

    290 for the upper
150 for the parts kit, etc.
    100+ for an aluminum lower
    150+ for a quality BCG
    40 for a CH
    730 sub total

    40 for a Magpul MBUS
    25+ shipping
    795 grand total

    200+ for a quality optic

    You're right Gatoragn.
I forgot that even with spare parts lying about, it's still a cost to add into finishing a build.
Got close to 1/2 dozen optics with Rings to choose from. Not expensive stuff, but very usable. Can't use Irons anymore, so I need to rely on Optics, be they Red Dots or Crosshaired. These along with the other components--less the Receiver, which I'll use my Oracle Lower for the moment, will give me a very capable AR for the time being until I decide on another Rollmark.

Jumping on a PSA sale often results in a Colt level ($1100) rifle at a DPMS $700) price.

I hope it all comes together seemlessly for you.

I too snagged the $289 complete upper from PSA.
Complete in this case DOES MEAN BCG & CH!

I was going to go for a 'from parts' build as project with my adult son, but figured this was too good to pass up.
I can throw this on the lower until we choose to do something different.

I can throw this on a lesser lower if we build a better upper for him later.

Kg7IL, I will trade you a herd of mule deer on my front lawn for your cows!
I built a number of PSA rifles and must admit they are constantly coming up with smokin' deals. I watch for CHF on their barrels and "premium" then adapt my build accordingly. I think you will find your rifle will have acceptable accuracy (if I remember correctly Army specs allow for 8" at 100 yards :) hopefully you can better that) and give years of operation as they (PSA) provide excellent quality.

We have elk and some deer wandering through the property, but your herd is welcome here.

I am interested in pinning this upper after a quick clean and see what she does.

I have a 14.75" barrel and Daniel Defense flash hider that I will send to Rainier for pin and weld next week. I am using mostly PSA parts on the build, I bought several uppers and lowers when they had their most recent "nutso" sale. No Elk right here but have an occasional moose wander through to drink from the lake.
