I would bring.....
ya got any idea as to how much that weighs?
cause i think you're gonna need a pack mule to carry all that!
Or a car.
trucks are better!
Anymore than 1 rifle/shotgun and 1 handgun with ammo and other needed supplies is going to be way to much weight in any scenario.
My .357 revolver and the only rifle I have. My .22 Henry Lever.
I have a family me a wife and 3kids
And 2 dogs a rot and a German Shepard
That's a lot of food and water you'll need and kids don't have the strength and stamina to haul lots of weight long distances. Even with five of you it's probably to much. But you may disagree and I hope we never have to find out.
True true brother
On the plus side with the proper packs your dogs can carry their own food. My brother used to hike all over the place with his Lab-mix and he had her carry all her own food up and down mountains.
Where are you planning to go with all this???
What kind of gun...well...I would grab a supersoaker. How else am I going to clean up the ****, when the **** hits the fan?
All I have into the truck....
Rossi Circuit Judge 45/410 and Ruger Vaquero 45.
If something like SHTF ever did happen, my family would "bug in". If for some unseen, catastrophic reason this was not possible I would grab my AR, 10/22, 12ga, all the ammo my family could carry, and of course my SR9 would already be on my hip. If it came down to it that I had to cut one for weight reasons, I would dump the shotty. It's the only one I cant see a specific need for.
I'm gonna grab my torch and go to the nearest army base and get myself a 240b and a real m4 and then go visit the ammo supply point for claymore a and grenade
I intend to grab my integrally suppressed MP5 9mm, my full auto CZ75, the ma deuce, and my FNFAL. My son will be grabbing his full auto and suppressed .22 carbine and .22 pistol, and we'll hit the road in the deuce and a half, pillaging and burning, with Fluffy, our schitzhund trained Pomeranian.
IMO, you need to make some decisions. Like, where are you dragging
all that crap off to? Stash 2/3rds of that stuff there. Bear in mind,
you may get all your weapons stripped from you, at a checkpoint.
And as an aside- "What do you need a hi-cap mag for?" SO YOU
HAVE LESS CRAP TO CARRY.
An extra barrel for the shotgun? Really? (STASH)
Trade a rifle or SG for a pistol your wife can handle, so she
can defend the kids.
And, AND, if the SHTF, I CERTAINLY hope you have more than
just guns and bullets.
