I have a older pistol I inherited and while shooting I noticed a small pin that coming out. The pin goes through the slide and into the extractor. Is there something I could put on the top of that pin to hold it in. Obviously don't want it where it can't be removed if needed just something to help hold it in. Thanks ahead for any help.

Maybe Loctite will do the trick.

Some pics of the entire pistol, markings and the pin in question would be helpful. There are some pretty knowledgeable people here but none of them are psychic far as I can tell, although I swear if C3 were alive in the 17th century he would have been burned as a witch. :)

Hop over to the Introduction section and say hi.

A big help would be photos and a hint at the make and model of your gun.

Sounds like a roll pin. You will probably have to order another pin. No big deal.

Go to Lowe's and get a new pin.
