Ok - I don't own a cool Ford, but I do like them. Heck, I also like Chevy, Pontiac, Buick, Mopar, Jeep, - well anything that is muscle or off road or just plain cool.

Surely there are some Ford Fans out there willing to entertain us. I will post mine once I take a current picture.

I come from a bit of a Ford family. Between my Dad, brother and myself we have 10(I think) Fords.

    I have a 90 and a 72 Bronco and a 95 f250. My brother has a 42 GPW and my Dad has a 2001 F350, a 73 Bronco and a Ranchero. Then there is also the 71 f100, 69 f100, 69 f250 all scattered around the property gathering rust.

when I was 5, my dad traded in a ford that was too hard on gas.

    a 1968 gt500 Shelby convertible. red one.

the previous owner was a man named buster crabbe.

he traded it in on a maverick.

I didn't speak to him of my own free will again until I was 19.

I have had my fair share. I am a Ford man by default really. I have owned many other brands but the Fords tend to last.

I've never really been a Ford fan in general (raised in a Mopar family) but always had a thing for 63 Galaxie's...I dont know why, i have never owned one, dont know anybody that ever owned one, just think they are really cool looking cars. When i spot one at a car show or cruiz-in i always have to go check it out...........:D

^^^for the same reason I look at a 59 impala, or a 58 bel air, or a 66 ford xl, or a 72 fury or any number of models and get out the mental torch and paint sprayer.

cause it's something you don't see every day. you know exactly how you'd like to work it to look like your wildest street racing nylon stocking fantasy.

a tubbed out 59 hearse with a straight tube front axle, flames, and a blown 502 chevy motor? yup....that's why

decomposition...embalming fluid only holds for so long.

    plus, that whole "leakage" thing.

besides, it's respectful to the living as well. think about it...you've been stuck behind that slow moving funeral procession....

    see what i'm saying?

Theres a guy that has a 57 Chevy gasser, shows up most cruise nights. BBC, 2 fours, 4spd, open headers, racing slicks. He must not live too far from there.....Plus the local cops kind of look the other way a little bit for a couple hrs on Tues night as long as we dont get too crazy....They must like old cars too.

My first car was a Ford. I learned its no coincidence that Ford is a four letter word. I used a lot of other four letter words working in it. Not likely that I'll ever own another, but I can't say never. Companies change over time.
