Andy Coumo has clearly shown himself as a divider, not the Uniter he promised he would be. He's creating special classes of Citizens all over the state in an attempt to fracture the vote and dishevel and organized support against his policies.

In the last couple years he has given special rights to special people consistently with the intent of picking off dissenters.

Last week, it was announced that he made a super secret deal with the Oneida Indian Nation where they would give up some of their Sovereignty, pay 1/4 of their gaming proceeds to the state, drop their land claim and he would guarantee them a 10 county buffer between them and any other Casino's. If they didnt agree, he would put a Casino right on their porch!

A couple weeks ago, the Albany LEO Union came out against the Safe Act and days later, a special clause was being added to the Act to Exempt Active and Retired LEO's from most of it. Someone must have told him that LEO's are more likely to own one of those Military looking Weapons than anyone; after all, thats what they train with!

Last week he announced the establishment of little tax free business zones in and around SUNY Schools in the state. Open a new "Business" in them and you and your income is State Tax free for 10 years! My rural 15 year old Small Business will get no breaks, just more tax bills.

Months ago, he mentioned legalizing Pot in New York City but not the rest of the state. He said NYC Youths were particularly vulnerable to incarceration and this would help ease the burden on the state and the perm prison records of NYC kids. He forgot to mention they store most of their downstate trash in our Upstate Prisons! Our kid gets busted with a bag of pot, they go to jail unless they are in New York City?????

In a Nation and State where we are all created equal, it seems Andy has favorites that get better than equal treatment. We need to keep our eye on this trend, it waters down any chances of us unifying our voices and reversing the Unconstitutional Laws he has passed. If we drink once from his chalice, were done; just another statistic he will use against us in his "Andy Done Good" Series of commercials!

To bad the Oneidas don't have the bollocks like the Mohawks. Those went up against the Canadian Army and NYS Police and shot down a National Guard helicopter. In return they got thousands of acres of NYS and Canadian land. Sometimes I wish I was a Mohawk...

    I had a Mohawk once.

NY is gone. The Democrats installed the provincial Emperor there. The old Republicans are dying off and the new ones are racing to see how much they can kiss Cuomo II's ring and arse -- the REPUBLICANS whipped the NY State Senate to pass the antigun SAFE Act!!! And don't you SEE it is racist to arrest most of the kids from the inner city!?!?!?

Close you business, join them already, and go on welfare.

    Vote with your wallet.

You have two choices. Take all your

money to another state. Then vote.

Or stay in the state, being extremely

careful to vote for only what is in your

best interest. Politicians DO understand the

    language of MONEY.

Yes I agree, many long term residents have left already but deserting NY isnt in the cards for me. I served the NY Army National Guard for 17 years, I cant bail now just because a bunch of SFB's are behind the wheel. "This land is our land", not their kingdom. This we will defend, its well worth the fight. The Empire State will rise again out of the dust left behind by lousy housekeepers in Albany.

    I feel for you!

You have my Deepest empathy: I left NY 17 months ago, Mostly for "health restoration" reasons(and I have gotten somewhat healthier-lost 123 pounds, and gotten better control of my blood sugars) But i feel for you and all of my relatives & In-Laws who are stuck there. My wife's Older brother left politics because he was probably the only "Honest" republican In Suffock Cty.

I have been back twice since then for "business", but i think this was the last time, as I just shut down my Biz last week. Time for DW & I to move in another direction. I Was a Teacher, Football Coach, & HS Spec. Ed. Asst. Dean for a long time. I watched my profession take constant Hit after Hit by Cuomo Jr. & Billionaire Bloomy. It's nice that Andy exempted Most of the Active LEO's & retirees from the "7 rounds or Jail" decree, But I have been telling my friends who are Ex-PD to consider re-location..

Wow Doc, you lost 123 lbs, thats a whole human! Congrads! Are you sure it was fat you lost or just 123 lbs of NY Tax Burden!

He exempted LEO's but not Military retirees, I guess were still NY's redheaded stepchildren, it was OK for me to pack heat for the NYARNG but not for my own safety!

Seems like most NY Civil servants get their retirement and head to Florida or tax free otherlands anyways so Andy's attempt to keep them here isnt worth the paper its printed on.

Your right! most go to Fla. or NC....we went the opposite direction! WEST!!! As long as you know when you leave NY You can't
take your entire collection with you: It has to be Shipped(I paid extra to ship my collection still in my safe, Registered certified transport!)

I give all the credit for the Weight loss to the South Beach diet and the Hi Powered Water pills the Doc gave me!

that is why my family, my money, my dog, and my guns are moving out of this sh!thole of a state.

If I remember right, when the reuslts of the last Gubenatorial race were anounced, the first words out of my wife's mouth were:

" Oh sh!t. There goes the state." Pretty close to what I said when I didn't move away 20 years ago.

Congrats on loosing a person Dr. F. Been telling my friends to get out while you can for the past 20 years. Some of them are just now starting to listen.

Shipped out? My guess is that you didn't self relocate.

Partly. We Packed as much clothes and extra stuff we thought we need into our Ford Escape. The rest of what we "Kept" wen't into a POD, but you can't ship Guns or Ammo that way. I was Told by a License Office Cop In Nass. County and he told Me 6 Was the Limit you can travel through states that were "reciprpocal" with my NY permit.

I can't say I feel the people New York's pain. I don't know how I would feel if my home state turned on me. I live in NC. We have a bunch of ex New Yorker's here. What confuses me is they left New York because it was so messed up. Yet when they get settled in NC the first thing they want to do is recreate NY here in NC.

I sympathize with the people of NY. NC is not that great. When you leave just keep heading south to FL. FL is a much better state.

Thank for clarifying. I was wondering about that.

Used to live in NC. Sad part is, when dad retired from the Corps, he and mom chose to move here. Now he is talking about Texas. For me it is down to PA or Ohio. Depends on how the interviews go at the interested schools go for the wife. Right now, she has 3 schools in Ohio, and 5 in PA that want to interview her for cafeteria jobs. With 20 + years in food service, they are offering some very good wages and benifits to her. We shall see.
