Price: $0.00An amazing do all shotgun. Imo #1 in customize department. I have an older express 2 3/4 and its never failed for me when I do everything right. But I'd still take a Mossberg 500 for hd. I still say if mossberg and Remington took the best of both guns and made a Frankenstein pump it would put a monopoly on the budget shotgun market, not to mention free up a space in the safe for something else. Haha.
Pros: Ruggedness, reliability, smooth pump-action, lots of add-on's, beautiful classic looks, a lot of bang for the bucks
Cons: Poor finish
Recommended? YesHave none? Buy it! This is a gun that will fit most purposes!
Pros: It's a Remington
Cons: heavy loads (Black Cloud 1500fps) the action extracts and EJECTS spent shell on its own. REMINGTON SAYS "ACTION WORKS AS IT IS SUPPOSE TO" I have never heard of such a thing. I have 9 Remington shotguns. This is a REMINGTON 870 EXPRESS SUPER MAG. 3 1/2". has anyone ever heard of this happening ?????. It scares hell out of me. The recoil on this shotgun is BRUTAL.
Recommended? NoI have talked to the Remington people, and they assure me that "all is in specs" Heavy recoil is to be expected with "HEAVY MAGNUM LOADS.
If I wanted a semi-auto shotgun, I would have bought one
Just FYI Thanks

Recommended? YesGreat value! Durable and well made. I use both a 28" for birds and usually have an 18 1/2" when in bear country. Much better choice than a handgun in close quaters, low light situation.

Pros: easy to clean, durable, recoil not too bad
Cons: stock and metal finish poor
Recommended? Yes12 year old brother put over 20 rounds through it of both low base bird shot and 00buck without getting a sore shoulder
