This All-American pump gun brings hunters the best of all worlds. Beneath no-nonsense, ready-for-work exterior of the Model 870 Express lies the same quality, precision, and dependability that you'll find in our legendary Model 870 Wingmaster®, but at a much more affordable price.

Like all Model 870 shotguns, this workhorse features a receiver milled from a solid billet of steel for maximum strength and reliability. The silky-smooth twin action bars prevent binding and twisting so that you'll always have the chance to get off a second shot. Appropriately dressed for the hunt and not for the wall, each shotgun sports non-reflective black matte metalwork and a no-frills satin finish hardwood stock and fore-end. Both the 12- and 20-gauge models are offered with your choice of a 26- or 28-inch vent-rib barrel with a Modified Rem™ Choke and single bead sight.

    Price: $400.00

    Pros: It's a Remington

Cons: heavy loads (Black Cloud 1500fps) the action extracts and EJECTS spent shell on its own. REMINGTON SAYS "ACTION WORKS AS IT IS SUPPOSE TO" I have never heard of such a thing. I have 9 Remington shotguns. This is a REMINGTON 870 EXPRESS SUPER MAG. 3 1/2". has anyone ever heard of this happening ?????. It scares hell out of me. The recoil on this shotgun is BRUTAL.

    Recommended? No

I have talked to the Remington people, and they assure me that "all is in specs" Heavy recoil is to be expected with "HEAVY MAGNUM LOADS.
If I wanted a semi-auto shotgun, I would have bought one

    Just FYI Thanks

    Price: $205.00

    Pros: Inexpensive-versitle

    Cons: none

Great value! Durable and well made. I use both a 28" for birds and usually have an 18 1/2" when in bear country. Much better choice than a handgun in close quaters, low light situation.
