Finally had the chance to fire the SP101, after 24 rounds, notice some fragments in the cylinder chambers from the bullets, shaving from the bullet itself. Stopped shooting it, after getting home and cleaning it. Will take it to local gunsmith.

Indication of timing issue, also will have the gunsmith look the cylinder chambers as well, after firing, ejecting the spent casings is not easy!

Will have the gunsmith do a checkup. More to follow! :(

I purchased the Ruger SP101 in November 2016 from my receipt.

And check your spam folder. Yahoo does some strange things with their spam filters.

I had to send a Redhawk .44 back to them last year. From shipping day to receiving it back was under 2 weeks. As others stated should have had the label already. I think I got mine while I was still on the line with CS.

If there is a company with better after purchase support than Ruger, I'd be surprised.

Sent from a phone I can use to do my taxes, but can't make a damn call.

Finally! Had to call Ruger they sent the Fedex label to wrong email address.

Description of Problem, short and concise:

1. Bullet shavings in the cylinder when fired.
2. When the hammer is locked back, the cylinder has movement.
3. After 3 firings of 8 rounds very difficult to eject .22LR spent casings from the cylinder.
4. Since initial range time, which was in May of this year, total amount of ammunition fired was 48 rounds, do to the problems listed above.

I called Ruger the Thursday in the morning, never got email or call that the Ruger SP101 .22LR was shipped. Well, Thursday morning called the customer service rep, advised the firearm was shipped out the 18 Sep 2017, been sitting at my FFL since then. Finally, picked up the new (replacement) .22LR revolver. Try for some range time Sunday or next week to see if functions correctly!

I think I know what you mean, but you stated it wrong. You should have said, 'as for me it is the best gun that I can ever have'.......and with this, I agree.

I like all my Rugers, especially the wheel guns among them. The neuropathy in my hands makes it increasingly difficult to rack the slide on the autos.
