well the front site is as low as it can go already,,so if anything id have to go taller..just
dont know by how much untill i shoot it with the peep on..

am going to order a lyman #66 receiver peep sight for a win 94 30-30 and was wondering if

i just took the old recoil pad off. it was 3/4" thick. the butt of stock is flat. if i could
find or make a 1/4" buttplate it would shorten the l.o.p. 1/2". and that would be just enough.

well i took the recoil pad off and it shortened the stock a 1/2 inch. im trying to find a
plastic or metal buttplate to just put on to cover the end. got any ideas?

im mounting it on a model 70 30-06. i just bedded the stock and floated the barrel and
lightened the trigger pull. now i want a good scope,with a great warranty, to last me the rest
of my life.
