    The REPR is a bit heavy but in 7.62 NATO that is to be expected. My 18" barrel comes in at
    about 9lbs. The SPR is not heavy at all not sure on the weight but its under 8lbs.

    I have the new SPR and a REPR. They are both wonderful rifles. That rail is so sweet and feels
    so good in the hand. The SPR is so balanced it really is awesome to hold it.

    Maybe it's the German thing but I also love how my hk45 feels, it's like it was made for me.
