    I just bought a Colt 1878 .44-40 at an auction, but it's being shipped to a local dealer with

    Anyone have any information on this gun? It's marked, "WELT WAFFEN W. GERMANY Cal. 7.65

    Oops! I didn't look at the model number after I bought it -- it was advertised as a Model 96D,
    and it turns out to be a 96 Centurion. Sorry for the confusion.:confused:
