Posted in thread: "Twist" question on 05-17-2013 at 12:16 AM
I'm looking online to purchase an AR15, either Bushmaster which is 1-9" twist, or Smith &
Wesson which is 1-8" twist. They're the same price @ $899. What's the difference in twist? What
is twist? If th...Posted in thread: cryogenic treatment to bolts and barrels on 05-16-2013 at 03:09 PM
From what I understand about R-Guns from another Forum, is that they're using 8620 Steel
because it's easier to get, instead of the (now) recommended C-158 Steel. Heard that lots of

If you're looking at ANY Bushnell, only look at Elite lineup. Elite 3200,4200,6500 Lineup is
discontinued, and is now just called Elite. Nikon ProStaff is OK as a cheaper budget, but for

If you're willing to spend a little more for a Simmons, at least get a 44MAG with Side Focus

I know Bushnell just came out with a Rangefinder Scope to go up against the Burris Eliminator,
but I don't know of anybody who has one, to give an honest assessment about them. However, for
around the ...Posted in thread: Hammer question on a lower build. on 05-13-2013 at 03:42 AM
Being your first build, did you use any oil on the Pins? Sounds like Hammer and other items may
be dry. Give those suckers some oil, and I'll bet you won't have any hangups. Also Hammer

Thanks, this is what I thought. I do have an AR that does say 223-5.56, so I know it can shoot
both rounds without problems, and I know about the higher charge of 5.56 and not firing rounds
in a dedic...Posted in thread: Difference of 5.56 and Multi-Caliber Lower? on 11-14-2012 at 11:29 PM
Is there truely, differences between the standard Mil-Spec 5.56/223 Lowers dimensions, compared
to Lowers that say MULTI Caliber, or is this just a fancy marketing twist on words?DelPosted in thread: Oooo pretty colors! on 11-14-2012 at 10:55 PM
