I have handled (not shot) the S&W and shot the DW. No brainer for me, it would be the Dan
Wesson. Great, strong build, pleasing to both eye & hand. JMHOPosted in thread: What sights do you use on your p-series Sigs? on 06-07-2013 at 05:13 PM
Stock Sig sights on my P226 & P239. No issues, fast target acquisition and great accuracy, even
weak hand. But, that's my grip & my eyes. YMMVWhatever gets you on target best is what is best
for YOU.Posted in thread: Thinking About Selling All of My 1911s in 45 on 06-04-2013 at 12:06 AM
Chainsaw,Thanks for the recommendation, I will look into it.No trouble shooting my .45's yet,
but while I am working my part-time job at a LGS/Shooting range I am just planning ahead while

Never rule out any caliber chambered in a 1911. In the right hands a 9mm can be very
effective.I currently have a STI 1911, full size and a Sig 1911 Stainless Carry (commander)
both in .45. But, the o...Posted in thread: Which to buy on 05-22-2013 at 05:45 PM
I work at a LGS and have had the pleasure to handle and plink with both the Remington and the

I own a STI Trojan and a Sig Stainless Carry. Both are rock solid reliable. I carry the Sig the
most simply because a Commander size conceals a little bit easier than the 5" STI. Truth is
when I put m...Posted in thread: Need opinions on current crop of 1911. on 03-02-2013 at 09:32 PM
I own the Spartan as well as a Sig Stainless Steel Carry. The Spartan is a great shooter that I
have about 3000 rounds through and it is trouble free. The Sig I have about 1300 rounds through

Galco Kingtuck is the most comfortable rig I have found for my 1911's. Wear it all day everyday
with no problems. One of the best values for the money as well.Posted in thread: 1911 Hammer fact or fiction?? on 01-26-2013 at 03:39 PM
Reality, the clerk knew not of what he spoke (short form: BS). I work in a LGS and I know what
I know and more importantly, I know what I don't know. If I don't know the answer to a question

The Sig is made for them by GSG. It's one of the few firearms they don't produce for
themselves.I have shot the GSG & found it to be a good shooter right out of the box. Don't own
one but work in a LG...
