  Thats good to hear. The only thing that I don't care for is the three position safety. It's not
  like the older rugers with the tang safety, but other than that it looks like a sweet little
  shooter

  I just bought a Ruger M77 (not the hawkeye) in a .308 winchester. Its a black synthetic stock
  with a stainless barrel. Anyone have one of these? any info on what to expect? Pros & Cons?
