Not or Maybe - not sure. The letter is not clear it could be a(D) (B) (R) and the first numbers
are(22) the rifle has checkering forend and stock, but it is Ballard rifling.

Did marlin make some in 70's or when did they stop or start or make some extras or whatever . I

the lr 308 is ok. You might have to put a trigger kit in .
