Deerhunter, is your mag release also very hard to work? takes quite a bit of pressure on mine

i picked up an American Classic Commander 1911 in 9MM a while back. have maybe 200 rounds of
ball ammo through it. no failures of any kind other then the magazine it came with wouldn't

just finished the range with new Tisas. very happy with this 1911A1. found the trigger on mine
sort of like a 2 stage military pull, a lot of take-up travel, then about a 6 to 7 pound pull.

i forgot where i saw it, but someone makes a little piece of aluminum the fits around the mag
release to prevent the "idiot" scratch. comes in all sizes and colors.
