I have 2 .357/9 Blackhawks. They both shoot to point of aim with either cylinder in place. The best part
of getting the conversion is that the action gets tuned at the factory so that both cylinders a...

I think they both (P-3AT and the LCP) shoot about the same. They both seem reliable and are small enough
that you will probably always have it on you which is the most important thing.

If you watch J+G Sales they often have police trade-ins for around $200 for a Smith .38. If you want new,
try Kel-Tek they are a little above your price point but are a reasonably good choice.

You may also try any of the steel CZ pistols. With the arthritis in your hands the polymer frames may not
function well. You may get failures to feed or eject. Steel frames are more forgiving when gri...

I don't think the Jerico is available any more. If you can find a used one, good. Just make sure it isn't
one of their proprietary calibers. Any CZ75 clone will give good service.

  • Posted in thread: Options for a lefty? on 10/29/2011 at 3:03PM
There is always the single shot option. You could get an Encore or a Ruger #1 or maybe a nice Sharps. Or
more unique a Martini falling block. A neat thing about most Single shots is they are ambidexte...

USE ONLY RUGER FACTORY MAGS!!!!! Others may work but for some reason the factory mags seem the absolute
most reliable... so why waste money just to take a chance on what might not work.

  • Posted in thread: Whats the Big Deal with the Mosin? on 10/24/2011 at 7:33PM
In the 80's it was SMLEs $70 and ammo was cheap. In the 60s it was M1 carbines REALLY cheap and they were
giving the ammo away. In the 50's you could mail order a nazi Luger or a 1911 for $10 or an '0...

  • Posted in thread: Tika OR Sako on 10/24/2011 at 7:10PM
The Mags are different as well. Tika's are plastic 5 rounders and TRG's are steel 10 rounders that cost
$200 per. Tika's are excellent, but I like my TRG better.34138

  • Posted in thread: Gun Cleaning Input on 10/03/2011 at 3:39PM
With me it depends on the weapon. My Glocks get "abused" they get shot ALOT and cleaned little as long as
they go without a hiccup they just get wiped down. My 1911s get stripped and cleaned after eve...
