That is a AWESOME rifle. I don't have it, but I would crap $450 for it right now. The 30/30
lever is a fantastic home defense tool as well!

Shield 9mm. Easy to conceal. Easier to control on follow up shots, less recoil, than the .40

The Apex duty/carry kit cures the only thing wrong with the Shield.

I have the Rem. 597 .22 WMR LSHB. I really like the rifle but have hada lot of issues with
hammer follow. It will shoot 1" groups at 100 yardspretty consistently with good ammunition.
