What you're selling is worth $450-550 and you'd rather not say...hmmm lol. If you're in
Colorado or Washington state I'd just tell him to sell the gun to a lgs and go to a dispensary.
    Kidding kidding!...

Thanks for the opinions so far, found out it is a Gen 3 LE trade-in used for annual
certifications (not an officer's carry piece). It has night sights, two 17 rd mags, and a 30 rd
    mag. I know people t...

Hey there Glock fans, I've had someone offer me a Glock 17 in trade for something I'm selling.
I have a good grasp of the true worth of what I have, but wanted to know what a G17 is bringing
    these day...

Thanks for the pointers everyone! I always load a single round with the mag, what I've been
doing is removing the mag after the round is in the barrel so that's how it's falling out
    through the magazi...

Seems like my last reassembly might have fixed it. I've cycled a dozen rounds and only had this
problem happen three times now. This couldn't be related to any other issue like with how I
    rack the sli...

Alright, I took a bunch this time. Hopefully this will reveal something, I really don't like my
primary defense weapon being inoperable and this is really frustrating to me (How can these
    simple mecha...

It was just a field strip, didn't get any further than that. I can take a picture of it
completely apart if that helps more, I've taken it apart and put it back probably 3 times now
    hoping one of them...

I'm not sure which piece is the extractor specifically (I understand the general area it is in,
but not sure which part is it specifically). I can tell you this, if I rack the slide back with
    the gun ...

So this is the first time I have field stripped my 1911 today. Actually a veteran 1911 owner
did it for me, and even applied lubricant to the spots where they needed to be. I went home,
    and I've now j...

Thanks guys, I am not totally opposed to the plastic - just afraid it would leave lots of scuff
marks on the finish. If there are ones with a soft lining on the inside to prevent this, then
    I'm all ea...
