i had the chance to fire one of these tonight. It seemed like a very fine rifle. The bolt
seemed smooth enough, and it was very accurate. Also, the one I fired treated the brass nice,

I would go with either a 91/30 PU or a M39.. Not really much more expensive than the "standard"

The full size Mosin is a better shooter. You will likely be more accurate, with a lower
perceived recoil, lesser muzzle blast, less flash, and for less $$. The M44 carbine was for
