  I'm thinking about getting a .243 but wasn't real sure on who makes a good one. I will be using
  it at ranges from 100-300 for yotes, varmints and maybe for deer. But primarily for varmint.

  I am looking at a ruger gp100 with a 6"barrel. I will probably shoot 38s out if it for a while

  Heres what Im working with its a cheapo scope but it gets me by :DCheapo scopes aren't allways
  bad, I have a 40$ one on my 22lr.:P Is that a Marlin?
