    I, too love my hi-point. But the magazines can be real crappy. I had a similar problem, and
    jsut bought two new magazines. That seems to have fixed the problem.

    I have a Taurus 605 with almost 5000 rounds through it and maybe 2000 of those were .357
    magnum.No problems has been the most trouble-free gun I've ever owned.

    Taurus makes good guns for the most part. Their guarantee is simply awesome.Their customer
    service can be spotty...but overall I am very pleased with my Taurus'...and I own several.
