I shoot a black powder pistol all the time in matches and the best thing i have been taught is
put it on a loading stand and measure out your powder put that in first then put in a filler

the 9mm is your best bet. the .22 can wound someone but if your are being attacked the best
reassurance your safe would be a 9mm.
