If you had to shoot back at someone who was hiding behind a car, just about any 7.62 x 39 will
penetrate well. Handguns, not so much. And while the .223 has velocity going for it, too much

Adult bison are not afraid in the least of cars or pickups. They will stand in the road,

How about a Mini-30 (7.62x39) ? Good penetration, a lot more range if you need it than a
shotgun, very reliable (with Ruger 20 round mags, don't use aftermarket) not as "military"
