JMHO, but stay away from Heritage revolvers. They aren't necessarily junk, but they don't
compare in quality to most other brands.How are the .22's that they make?

The Mark 4’s are good optics for the money. I have a 6.5-20x50 on a M1A and they make one heck
of a combo. The S&B optics are pure gold! Just plan awesome but it’s hard to get them at a

For a 16” barrel I would go with one from BravocompanyUSA.com or Daniel Defense. Both are
tier 1 barrels.

There is always a round in the chamber. When it gets bad I doubt there would be enough time to
rack the slide. With a good holster you should never have a concern about an AD.

I would stay away from the 597. I have seen more than a few issues with them. Most of the time
it is FTF or FTE. If you want a semi go with the 10/22. A blast to shoot and tons of
aftermarket support ...
