Nellis AFB still has their sign up. Talks about confiscating. I work there, so work and trips
to and from are the largest portion of my unarmed time. Be nice if they would at least allow
checking it i...Posted in thread: iwb mag carrier on 11-13-2012 at 08:34 AM
I got tired of buying/trying/storing them. Not a direct answer to your question, but a possible
alternative maybe. I carry my spare in a Redhead folding knife case on my belt. No one pays any
attentio...Posted in thread: Carrying an extra mag. Yes or no? on 11-08-2012 at 04:42 AM
I carry one in a Redhead knife case. Just looks like I have a folder. Why carry a spare mag?
Why not? If I need it, it's there. If I have to worry about the weight of a mag or two, I'm
really going to...Posted in thread: Shoulder holsters.. on 11-04-2012 at 05:30 AM
I had got luck with the Bianchi X-15 with my Model 19. I like the vertical carry with longer
barrels. I've had good luck with Galco. Especially the Royal Guard. I got their vertical

gotten the ...Posted in thread: Gov. 1911 Remora or other OWB or mexican carry? on 07-12-2012 at 07:41 PM

I carry either 3" or 5" Kimbers. I haven't felt there was a problem carrying either. The 3" is
a SIS Ultra. I think the grip is just a little short, but not so much I've re-gripped. Both
shot fantasti...Posted in thread: S&W Model 19 .357 Thoughts on 02-17-2012 at 01:53 AM
I have a 4" M19. Love it! It's the gun I used to teach my wife to shoot. The target grips work
well for me. Balanced, heavy enough to handle recoil of .357 and pure enjoyment with .38s. One
of my guns...Posted in thread: Ccw on 02-17-2012 at 01:20 AM
