A few weeks ago, the main aqueduct into Boston broke. We were operating off reserves and
boiling water for three days. This really got me thinking. Never mind the obvious need in the
    case of a total b...

[QUOTE=canebrake;120530]Well I might as well really confuse you.Ask anyone here and they will
    tell you I'm a 1911 died-in-the-wool shooter/CCW, better yet a Colt 1911! (Real men shower with
    a 1911!) P...

    If you're new to shooting, I'd personally recommend a 9mm or 357/38. Yes, a .45 in a 1911
platform would be the best in general, imo. But this can be more expensive, and I've found the

    loads, for...

can practice with a 1911 using cheaper than dirt .22 ammo. That way, you practice with your
    carry gun.A mo...

  • Posted in thread: Who else is into levers? on 06-20-2009 at 10:15 PM
I love lever action 30-30's. This was the first the real rifle I ever fired and definitely the
one I have used the most. Since there isn't much use for deer rifles in Massachusetts, it's
    pretty low on...

I'm in the lengthy process of getting my Massachusetts LTC. Luckily, I have friends in law
enforcement, a clean record, and a few legit reasons, so the LTC shouldn't be a problem once I
    finish the ste...
