  I found out during my atf interview that in WV you will fail your NICS check if you had a DUI
  in the last year. I guess they consider that substance addiction.. Never heard of it until my
  interview......

  I have the M&P 45 (In fact I have 2). Great guns, no issues at all. Still love my 1911 but the
  M&P will do the job. I ended up adding the Viridian green laser (C5L) to mine.
