I have the Sig P227 Carry, and it has been a quality handgun, no failures of any kind, i only
use 10rd Mags. The fit and finish of this Mfg in USA Sig is real quality.

I have not read of any real problems,a pin coming lose in early P227s, that was quickly fixed,
but have not read of any cracking frame till now.I really don't think Sig has major quality

Sorry to read this has happened to you. Sig support will get you back with a new frame or total
new P227. Since i have the P227 Carry i am sure watching my frame now.Let us know what Sig
support does ...
