  I have a NAA 22 mag that I carry in my gym shorts when I go to the gym. I cant see carrying it anytime
  that I could carry something bigger. When there is no other option 22 mag is better than nothing....

  I have a Jennings J-22. It mostly just sits in the safe. It will cycle Mini-Mags, Stingers and Velocitors
  fairly reliably. Do not carry it around with a round in the chamber. That would be very unsafe...

  Everyone should have a real 22lr. A conversion is fun. But it is no substitute for the real thing. I have
  a 10/22 and a model 60. I would get the 10/22 though.
