    I carry a 23 iwb,but i also carry my back up 27 in a ankle holster works for me,I am able to
    run with it on and have never had it fall off,or out.

    I have a white hat for my 23make sure that you use a good belt as well.

    I would not recommend a gun case for long term storage...unless you dont mind marring the
    finish of the gun that is.I am assuming we are discussing a hard side case...the foam attracts
    and holds moist...
