I am aware of that, but meant the regular military. Should have been clear about that. I doubt
the American military will switch to a Glock style weapon due to safety concerns.

Again, capacity. A 1911 is a hallmark-one of the finest (if not the finest) handguns ever
devised. However, few soldiers are going to want to carry so many mags, and less will want to
change them ever...
