I have one stripped and is shows some tiger stripping. It gets compliments at the range. The
other is still stained but it will be stripped soon.

Ruger has used Beech, Birch, Maple and Black Walnut at one time or another. Black Walnut on
their high end 10-22s. Maple is not used that often, but I have two in my herd.
