The Glock was introduced in the early '80s, 1982 I think, so it actually has been around for a
few decades. Overall it came out of the gate reliable but as you said there have been nagging
    problems, e...

Sure, in the '70s they had a shower enclosure with a concealed Glock 1 Gen0 in a flip-top

Also, perhaps I am severely uneducated, but can someone please tell me what "quality" pistols
has Glock made for decades before their plastic offering here in the US? I Don't doubt you just
    wondering ...

A lot has been made of the Glocks being polymer. Glock has been making quality pistols for a
few decades. They have done the R&D (not just a google search) and know what will work and what
    won't. They...

Guys not to be a smart ass but poly will soon sweep the black rifle world just like it did the
handgun world and you will be hard pressed to find a metal one. BUT, on the plus side, when
    major manufac...

Well I had the JP yellow reduced power springs in my DPMS. It made it 3.5-4 lbs pull. I feel
like I'm pulling 10 lbs on this NFA trigger, and quite frankly I couldn't get accustomed to it.
    I really do...

Excellent point, fsted2a. I think there is a parallel in the tennis world. I'm old enough to
have started out with wood racquets, then steel, then aluminum, then graphite. Graphite was
    excellent, so l...

Now, Polyman I don't really care for the NFA trigger. Do you like them? I'm pondering if just
doing the JP spring kit will help it, or if it all needs be replaced.Yea, I like the feel of
    the poly trig...

Well my questions were answered for me tonight. I listed my DPMS rifle (no sights) with the 2
factory mags, 2 aftermarket poly 30 round mags, and 100 rounds of ammo and it sold within 1
    hour of the po...

Everybody has a bad day, I wouldn't put much into it. I had the question years ago concerning
1/7 and 1/9 and I ran across an awesome article that had all the science explained. I have
    tried for years...
