    Leupold 1 piece base. Probably low or med rings. I like the Leupold base as you can drift the
    rear. Millet also good.

    Go to your local ammo store and check the price and availability of 380 ammo. I carry a P3AT
    everyday, but it is certainly not my only gun and definitely not the caliber I shoot the most
    at the range.

    Think outside the box a bit more, and I think the answer to your criteria is a 12ga shotgun. No
    single rifle is going to offer the same flexibility.The 223 is a great option if you are
    leaning towards...
