I've read a lot of good stuff about the Nano. Waiting for my range to get one for rent so I can
    try it.

Federal HST's are good, Winchester Rangers, or Speer Gold dots. All will get the job done.
Myself, I shoot the old reliable Federal Hi-Shok. Used by law enforcement for many years. And
    at under $20 fo...

It's hard, based on the article, to determine exactly how much knowledge the dealer had or did
not have about the nature of the transaction. Or whether or not it's reasonable to arrest and
    charge him....

there. What the laws were last month, they may not be today.

  • Posted in thread: has anyone shot the pmr-30 by keltec? on 02-20-2012 at 11:46 PM
I almost picked one of those up, then I found out they were a one ammo gun. Kel-Tec recommends
that you use only CCI Maxi Mags in them. Anything else can cause feed problems.

Took my new Walther P1 to the range today and it shoots as good as it looks. Put 100 rds of
Federal 115gr FMJ through it, without a single glitch. Functioned flawlessly. The single action
    trigger is r...

  • Posted in thread: New CM9 range and gun report..... on 02-19-2012 at 04:45 PM
I have a CM9 and love it. Absolutely reliable with any ammo. And surprisingly accurate for a
shorty. The magazine problem seems to be common to a lot of Kahrs. Mine won't drop at all. They
    have to be ...

  • Posted in thread: CC and Gun Shows on 02-19-2012 at 02:09 PM
There was an incident at a local show here a few years ago. It was a case where one guy was
looking at a particular gun and asking for opinions. Another guy said "Yeah, I carry one of
    those" and drew ...

  • Posted in thread: Chambering same round more than once on 02-19-2012 at 12:32 PM
Whenever I have reason to eject a chambered round, I toss it in a small tupperware tub I keep
for that purpose. When the tub collects enough rounds, I'll take it to the range and shoot it.
    That way I ...

That almost has to be from a squib. Or a bad ammo load. Is that a 45? Was he using shooting
Federals? I seem to remember a recall not long ago by Federal of a batch of 45 ammo that was
    loaded with the...
