  that gun was made roughly between August to October 1999. Hope this is helpful. I personally wouldn't buy
  and early G36 a lot of jams from what I've read.

  I bought a Glock 23 first but if I had known then what I know know I would have got the 19 first. I like
  the way it shoots better for me anyway.
