Update: loctite helped but did not solve problem entirely. Pulled old block and gas tube off.

Alright looked at it with a buddy and the gas block is not seated firmly. Buddy swears he's
fixed the same problem with loctite and his gun runs fine so I suppose I'll give that a shot.

Looking and found! Winchester Model 94 in .30-30. Post-64 model with the Weaver K3 scope and
