The CVA Electra uses electric ignition - unless you've got a team of engineers and a couple of
years to work on it, you probably won't come up with a better concept -

Blackdragon, I've been pressing my own wads out of crumpled-up aluminum foil. I imagine you
could make a similar die using metal tubing - for instance, onlinemetals.com sells brass tubing
which is 0.7...

I was asking about muskets, not rifles. muskets have smoothbores, rifles have rifled
bores.Blackdragon, about 15 years ago I bought a .54 flintlock Lyman Trade Rifle and a local
gunsmith reamed it out...
