XDM - 9mm w 4.5" barrel. Accuracy is "ok" at 50 ft but nothing really target worthy. To be brutally honest, I've been in & out of the VA hospital for two years and I'm far from 100 percent but I can still
group w 22 pistol.

I've found the recoil of the 9mm in the XDM to be the same as my Colt 45 w the accuracy edge going to Colt hands down.

Just wondering if anyone else has had the same problems ?

My XDm w/4.5" barrel shoots 4 inches high at 20 ft. I have to consiously aim it low, then it is dead on. When I shoot my Glock 19 and Sig P239, I do not have this issue.

The Glock 19 is my carry gun. The XDm is only used
for target & Defensive Handgun training, so I have learned to adjust to it. Love the gun though.

Chucklyoung - I started a thread XDM shooting left and I got a few good responses. Might be useful for you too.

Wish I had waited for the 5.25 XDM model. Was considering a 19C for fun and CCW.

Thanks Notdku, for opening the door, and extending a hand. I'm almost 60, and was a serious hunter, yet casual target shooter/plinker for the better part of 30 years. I had it so bad, each year
on the last day of the season, no matter where I was, I'd take a few minutes to reflect and watch the sun set. I would almost always shed a tear. Then, in '95, I lost a son to an accidental gunshot here at home. My wife was here
and held him, trying to stop the bleeding. I was over the road in a truck. A month later, I had a bad truck wreck, but tried to keep hunting for three more years, until I finally stopped hunting, (something I thought I'd never do)
and got on disability. Of course my wife still has nightmares, but each day gets a little better I guess. In '02, I lost my other son suddenly to a rare form of cancer. Now, I have a closet ful of guns heavy with dust. Because of
the world now, (and yes, it's quite different than in '95) my wife and I got our CCLs, and she just bought me a HD shotgun. Oh yeah, we have four RVs, four boats, and two diesel pick-ups now, and no sons to inherit all my tools
and stuff. My girls couldn't care any less. Anyway, I'm wanting to get back into shooting, maybe more target shooting/plinking than hunting this time around. But I'm bangin' this out on my not so smart phone, and am self taught
typing on it now maybe 2 years, so I'm not technical about all this thread stuff. Please, bare with me and thanks again. Maybe I'll get into it again enough to pull out my reloading stuff. If you know any good young guys who like
to do farm chores and need adopting, send 'em my way, ok?

Just purchased a new Walther P22Q and need extra mags...will a P22 mag fit my Q series gun, or does the mag have to specifically say P22Q?

Hello,
I am writing in effort to contact the appropriate person to ask if we may start adapt a new firearm column. I asked folks on here to reply in my question of starting a section on the forum for the M-14 rifle. A
resounding yes came, along with suggestions on having it be a, "M-14(and clones), M1 Garand, and M1 carbine section. I hope this sounds good to y'all. BTW, I also reside in the Hill Country, Stephenville. Hope that helps. :-)

@BILLFROMBOOMHOWERTEXAS

Hi Bill from Texas,

Just read your story - Man you and your bride have been through it. I am 72, a retired P.O. and then Pastor, now living in SC. Just started reloading and am enjoying myself. My wife
also is a shooter, has her cwp and also enjoys reloading. We will be traveling to Nevada in June to attend a 4 day handgun course at front sight.

take care
Tank
