348 Winchester. 358 Winchester. Those are the common cartridges. For truly out of the ordinary,
try 455 Webley, 310 Cadet, 577/450 Martini Henry.

It's spectacular for varmints. I wouldn't use it for anything I wanted to eat, unless you have
a good recipe for squirrel ears and tail. Stock up on brass NOW, if you can still find any.

It's just the ticket if you are of the "red mist" school of varmint hunting. The problem is

As of this writing Midway has 4 loads available, as low as 38 cents a round. At the pressures
38 S&W should be loaded at, the brass will last a long time.
