don't buy into that racking the slide as an intimidation factor. it's nothing but Hollywood
nonsense. pure BS. I'll agree that an awful lot of people seem to think that the sound of a
    shotgun being ra...

348 Winchester. 358 Winchester. Those are the common cartridges. For truly out of the ordinary,
try 455 Webley, 310 Cadet, 577/450 Martini Henry.

It's spectacular for varmints. I wouldn't use it for anything I wanted to eat, unless you have
a good recipe for squirrel ears and tail. Stock up on brass NOW, if you can still find any.

Boy, I wish I had enough money to buy that. Not that I want it, I just wish I had that much
money. It's a tad overdone for my taste, although the concept of a Mauser action shortened to
    223 size is in...

The S&W Military and Police appears to have been originally chambered for the same 38 S&W
cartridge as the other two. Judging by the word SPECIAL crudely stamped on the barrel it
    appears at some point...

Don't forget shooting a 45 acp chamber you can shoot 45 super and if you can have the chamber
cut 1/16 in length longer and you can then shoot the 460 Rowland . It would be like 38sp in a
    357 revolve...

Keep your old 300 and rebarrel and bolt into 308 for your daughter. Then go buy the 300 you
want. There are a few snags with this plan:The old 300 has been damaged, presumably beyond
    repair. Even if it ...

It's just the ticket if you are of the "red mist" school of varmint hunting. The problem is
that the WSSM cartridges are as dead as the dodo and there's not much else you can convert the
    rifle to use....
