Thanks ill let him know. I think we were shooting CPI standard velocity.right there is likely
the issue. with semi autos, you need the recoil of high velocity rounds to get reliable cycling

the lgs has one in relatively decent condition. i didnt look at it too much because i was on a
time limit. apparently it's kind of rare. wikipedia says there was about 217K of this model

just checked the sight on my 78' mod 60, a moderate tap and it slid sideways. no heat needed.
