I live in Belgium, and I started shooting guns 40 years ago. At the time, I just had to pay a
visit to my local police chief and he would write me a gun permit immediately, because he knew
    me well. Now...

Yes, you have no idea how lucky you are. I've been a gun owner for over 35 years now, and when
I started out, I just needed a consent of my local police chief. I went to see him, and came
    back with a ...

Not the quality of picture that I'm used to post, but I couldn't withstand the temptation of
taking this pic with my iPhone of my Colt Gold Cup National Match, although it will still have

    I just bought a nice second-hand S&W Model 14 with a 6 inch barrel. I also own a Model 52 and
have some very nice reloads for that gun: 2,4 grains of Vihtavuori behind a 148 grain HBWC
    bullet. However...

when I was stationed in Europe.Oh yeah, forgot to mention a few details: not only do I have to
    prove member...

Bit the bullet today and reserved the Model 14. I first shot it again at the range, with some
factory ammo from Fiocchi, and the results were very satisfying. It has serial number 90K5997,
    so I presum...

If the WC was leading the barrel, your accuracy will go to heck.I checked the barrel after some
25 shots, and didn't notice any apparent leading.

First off, 2 inches at 25 yards in the first group is pretty danged good!!! Tough act to
follow. How big was the second group?Second group was about 12 inches wide.

Hi all,I'm considering buying an used Model 14-4 and I fired some test shots with it at the
range. Strangely enough, the first 5 shots were fairly close together (say maximum 2 inches at
    25 yards), bu...
