I was following your post regarding the j.c.Higgins model 29.
I also have this gun and am looking to mount a different scope. The problem has been finding mounts that will fit the unusual ones on the gun. I tried 11mm mounts and they seemed too loose. Can you give me more information on the mounts you are using.
