Actually German Shorthairs and DKs are excellent trackers and the european DKs are used for just about
anything with fur and or feather. Thee most versatile hunting dog :D

We have 2 solid liver German Shorthairs. My Dad got me my first one in '68 and I've been hooked ever
since. We hunt and NAVHDA test. Life is too short not to have 2 GSPs :D

I hunt upland with two GSPs. Outstanding gundogs for upland but don't have the patience like a lab for
waterfowl nor do they have the coat for extreme cold water, they need to kep moving to stay warm....

If you have a GSP, search is over... you have the most versatile hunting dog in North America. One is fun
but 2 are better. Contact your local NAVHDA chapter
