  yes it is a fake, the serial number is copied from an original one. i can't even believe it was home
  made.. i thought the gun would be crude.the only thing that is not present are the proofmarks & ins...

  be careful when buying vintage M1911A1...there are some fakes circulating. here in our country
  (philippines) there are many colt counterfeits made in someone's backyard. i mean, HOME MADE 1911s... i h...
