  Carbines = Excellent firearm for the money.Handguns = They Work but are very top heavy w/lots
  of felt recoil.Given the price point I would buy a CZ-82 or Tokarev.

  All I've heard about them is: "Don't Waste Your Money".Kel-Tec P-11 is the same size and pretty
  reliable.A used Revolver might be a better choice.

  A PSL will give you some range and punch, 7.62x54r.About the same recoil as an AK.
