  • Posted in thread: Still a youngin... Any ideas on concealed handguns? on 05-22-2013 at 05:08 AM
I've thought about it, but my thoughts don't go far. I don't want someone to check out my butt
and go "oh that guys got a gun" lolHaha, ye, I had that fear at first. So I don't blame you,
    but my wife ...

Have you dried to see if your full size will work for you? I originally didn't think I would
carry a full size, but I prob carry my full size as much as my smaller gun (LCR). I carried for
    a while in ...

  • Posted in thread: Opinions on Fobus on 05-20-2013 at 04:14 AM
I know a guy that just got an old faithful holster for 40 or so. It required some assembley on
his part, but seemed pretty good afterwards. I've been thinking about trying one if those after
    seeing hi...

Used to do more of it, but I've slowly fallen away for some reason. Prob should pick it up
again though since shells are still not to hard to find.

  • Posted in thread: gun in car during summer on 05-15-2013 at 01:57 AM
I just left Arizona about a year ago (i will be heading back next week for a few days to). I
was in Glendale too, not flagstaff or payson or any of the cooler places. I never had a
    problem, nor did an...

I personally have never understood why they are so popular. They aren't bad by any means, but
not great either (IMHO). That being said, try it out and see if you like it. I was close to
    getting a sava...

  • Posted in thread: 511 tactical t-shirt on 05-07-2013 at 12:45 AM
I've got 2 of them. They are great shirts, but not worth the money in my mind. If you find one
for a good deal then sure. To carry a gun in them it better be small though, otherwise your
    shirt is alwa...

I would highly recommend looking at the vortex diamondbacks. I've had a pair for a few years
and have been really impressed. Much better than the NIKONs in my opinion. And much better
    warranty.

  • Posted in thread: Carbon Build-Up on 05-03-2013 at 05:11 AM
I know a lot of guys that use break cleaner to clean there guns. Great solvent. Gets the carbon
out real well, and its a lot cheaper. Just a thought. I think when my #9 runs out I will prob
    go that ro...

  • Posted in thread: PRACTICAL accuracy. on 05-01-2013 at 05:07 AM
I've found that around 200 yds is my comfort zone when standing, and up to about 300 if I have
a rest (tree limb or something). I usually get sighted in on a bench and then try and practice
    how I woul...
