  For starters the long side of the spring rests on the back of the feed throat and may or may not act as
  the ejector depending on with version you have. The shorter side with a bend rests under the car...

  Theres alot of threads about them floating around.....Personally one of my favorites, but it would have
  to be in real good shape for $90 considering new is around $130 or so.

  I see alot of newer models for $85 or so (which I would pay) Judging from your description I'd pay
  $50........just my 2 cents.......Like RL357MAG said a new isn't much more....$140 or so around hereI'...
