  You'd obviously want to use a really old book that doesn't have much value, e.g. Twilight, or a
  dictionary. The book I used was over 30 years old, and is 10 editions out of date. :-P

  Interesting. You can buy them a few places online, but if you do it yourself you can customize it.

  I used a box cutter. If I did it again I'd try to use a Dremel or Jigsaw.

  It had to be thick/wide/tall enough to fit the gun inside. I happened to have a few textbooks that
  someone gave me, they were all about 30 years old, so I just picked the largest one.
