I've been checkin out the Buckmaster line of Nikon scopes for my Marlin lever rifle. It

This brings back memories. When I was in the Navy in the '60's, I was in Japan & the rules
allowed us to purchase firearms at the PX & bring em home when our tour was over. I bought a
    Savage 110PL in ...

I got a great deal when I bought mine. Cabela's had them on special for $179.95, but I signed

I wouldn't disagree with that statement. The guns were deliberately built with looser
tolerances to allow them to function in extreme conditions, making the GI 1911's max effective
    range probably 50YD...

I agree wholeheartedly Tom. Actually I myself wouldn't have known how to state it correctly, as
you did. Thanx for the enlightenment. BTW, is that .303 British ammo in your avatar? My
    brother's got a ...

Tell me why it shouldn't be underestimated Hardrock. I mean it is possible to kill someone with
a weapon firing the .22LR cartridge. Where the rubber meets the road is the degree of
    effectiveness the ...

Speakin of 10MMs, a couple of guys took a Hi-Point carbine, chambered in .40S&W I presume, and
had it re-chambered in 10MM. You can check out the video on Youtube if you like. I'd much
    rather have a c...
